At the end of a long, hot summer I look forward to the days of a little chill in the air but let’s be real.. cold weather is fun for like, a day, but after we get to wear our leather jackets and comfy sweaters, we want summer back. I miss sandals and sundresses. Tan skin and beachy braids. But for the next couple of months, we’ve got to work with what we’ve got.
But don’t hang your summery sundresses up just yet! Try taking a cute scarf and belting it around a cute dress for a totally new look. I threw on a sweater with mine, but any kind of cardigan or jacket would work just as well. Depending on the scarf you wear, it totally changes the look of the dress, so get creative and send me some pictures of the way you style yours!
I’m wearing my Wrigley necklace, Adelaide earrings, and turquoise Anna Banks ring. And of course, I can’t go anywhere without my bracelets, so check out my Sophie bracelets and Lane cuff!

Emily, I love your hair at that length. I did not like the really long hair you had before. This current length frames your face so perfectly. The length is not short but not too long but just right enough to sport beautiful waves/curls that you have now, still makes you look chic! My hair is so long that it’s no longer attractive nor chic. I just purchased these Frye boots and I was wondering if you’re able to wear them with pants? I don’t feel like theres much extra room for jeans inside the boot! I have small legs, but there’s not much extra room. I’m hoping the leather loosens up a little bit as you wear them.
