This approach to gifting is the heartbeat behind one of my favorite jewelry boutiques, Fashion & Compassion. Fashion & Compassion is based in Charlotte, but they have projects all around the world that help bring dignity to artisans through economic empowerment. From the poverty stricken streets of Africa, to human trafficking survivors in Ecuador, to recovering addicts and abuse victims in my own backyard, these ladies are helping provide financial, emotional, educational and spiritual support to women who deserve a second chance.
