In honor of BatKid, I thought it only fitting to do a post of my favorite capes for winter. I can't promise that you'll be able to save Gotham City from destruction, but I can promise you'll trick people into thinking you could!
And for all of you that think you couldn't pull a cape off, let me give you a couple reasons YOU CAN..
1.) If I put enough effort into getting dressed and looking cute, the last thing I want to do is put on a frumpy coat to cover up all of my hard work. A cape is open enough so you can still see your outfit, but warm enough to not be a totally pointless piece of fabric.
2.) It doesn't matter how much "winter weight" you put on, capes ALWAYS fit.
3.) Capes look great with a fancy dress or jeans and a tshirt.

The Asos printed one is by far my favorite! Any prints tho I'm a sucker for. Once again an item I would NEVER consider buying for myself miss Emily totally changed my opinion! Shocker! Haha. Btw all my Christmas lists include all Emily Maynard jewelry on them! Can NOT wait :) I still totally have the real meaning of Christmas in my heart ...but if people insist on getting gifts, they might as well be amazing jewelry I want ! Love you Emily! I love the way Amber from Barefoot Blonde styled her cape also!! I have been on a hunt for a cape for a long time but I am definitely going to check out these one out!!

I have a cape jacket that I bought from Bloomies a few years ago that looks brand new and would fit in perfectly with all of your picks! You just inspired me to take it out of the closet again :)
